This wedding was so much fun! The new Mrs. and Ms. Zavels had their wedding on the Zavels family farm so it was totally unique and original!
One of my favorite things that Logan and Zack did at their wedding that I have never seen before was their unity act during the ceremony. You’ve seen the candle, the sand, the knot, the nail in the wooden box… but I’m sure you haven’t seen two people make a chain link heart with two chains left unlinked for them to be linked together with a lock during the ceremony to represent the act of unity. After linking the last two links of the heart together, the couple proceeded to tie the key to a few balloons and release it into the sky. How cute is that?!?! When I saw this I was in awe. What a unique, fantastic idea. I absolutely love it!
Having it on the family farm was also a huge perk! We got to take some pictures with a gorgeous blonde horse. The neighbors had a vintage drive in theater in their back yard and put “Hitched” on the billboard. And the party favor given to the guests were jars of jam made from berries grown on their farm! Which by the way, I grabbed one and have already eaten it up it was so good.
One last really neat thing that happened leading up to Logan and Zack’s wedding was a little feature in Coop magazine. That’s right, the Zavels family farm got a front page feature in Coop Magazine just weeks before their wedding. Here I am scrolling through Facebook and I see a picture of Zack on the cover of a magazine???… what???? How cool! He’s pretty much famous. The Zavel farm is pretty much famous. Having a booth at all of Knoxville’s different Farmer’s Markets, I have got to say you should hunt them down and get some yummy fruits and veggies from them!
Now that you’re fully acquainted with Mr. and Mrs. Zavels, you might be seeing them published in the next couple months. I am proud to say that I have recently had a wedding published on The Knot, The Tennessee Bride and Borrowed and Blue.
