I am so so excited to be writing a blog post about this couple. Since I met Kaci and Trey at our first meeting together, they have completely blown me away with their kindness, positivity, and love for one another. Kaci has experienced more grief and tragedy in her life than any young adult should EVER experience. She has every reason to be angry and hateful and bitter… but you know what? She loves Jesus. She leans on Him and He provides her with such kindness and joy that you know it has to come from Him because there is literally no way she could have that instilled in her heart without Him. But then there’s Trey. Who loves so passionately and unconditionally that again, no one could love this sweet without having Christ in their heart. To see the way that Trey looks at Kaci would most definitely give you butterflies. I’m so incredibly fortunate to have gotten to be the photographer that documented their wedding day!
My most favorite part of the day was definitely the ceremony. I don’t say that often either. It is very difficult to make a ceremony unique and all it’s own because there are so many traditions with it. Because of this, ceremonies are usually all very similar to each other, with similar vows, similar speeches about the wedding rings being a circle and what that symbolizes, and even the same ending “By the power invested in me by God and the State of Tennessee… I now pronounce you husband and wife…. you may kiss your bride”… but Kaci and Trey’s was different. Starting with Kaci’s grandfather and uncle stepping in to walk her down the aisle, then Trey’s reaction when he saw her for the very first time that day, so their sweet tears for each other while they read their vows. I was a blubbering mess behind my camera pretty much the entire time. It was just. so. sweet.
At the end of this post, I will provide a list of all the vendors that Kaci and Trey used as well as links to websites that I have! Also, there will be links to all of my social media accounts so you can find me and follow me easily! So trust me, you want to make it to the end!
