This family is so sweet and so amazing. Their two smallest kiddos have birthdays really close together, so for Naomi’s one year session, I also got to take some pictures of David turning three! Big sisters Leah and Natalie are SO good with Naomi and David. Anytime I was focusing on Naomi, they would play with David to entertain him. Then when I had them move spots, one of them would always grab Naomi for me to help transport her across the yard. Allison and Jonathan have truly done such an amazing job raising these four.

One of my favorite images from this session, which you’ll see below, is Naomi crawling underneath the high chair that David is sitting in while he’s digging into his birthday cake. We were all focused on David as he used the dinosaur cake topper to scoop icing off of his cake, meanwhile, Naomi crawled over and started climbing through the legs of the high chair. We all started laughing so hard which made David start cracking up… so all you see is his big smile behind his cake and little Naomi with her tush in the air trying to climb over one of the wooden bars. It was awesome. My favorite thing about taking pictures of families and young ones, is that most of my favorite images happen when I’m not posing and am just letting them do their thing.
